About the Role:

We are looking for an Expo/Food Runner to join our team at Star Leaf - Asian Cuisine in Pasadena, CA. As an Expo/Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are delivered to our guests in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining the high quality standards that Star Leaf is known for.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all orders are accurately prepared and delivered to the correct table
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining area
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth food delivery
Assist in restocking and replenishing inventory as needed
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

Prior experience in a similar role preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Food handler's card or willingness to obtain one

Compensation: $17.50 - $30.00 per hour

The Group is a consortium of restaurants that has over 20+ years of experience operating a number of successful restaurants in China, Asia, and the US.

Star Leaf has over 40+ full-service restaurants in China, serving Southeast Asian cuisine. This Pasadena outpost is Star Leaf’s first US location, which the Group will continue to expand.

In addition, the Group plans to add a fast-casual eatery to its portfolio.
